The Ocean State

We are here! I love it and I never want to leave! (We've already established that I have a flair for the dramatic...just go with it.)

Our house is not ready until the end of the month so we are in this adorable furnished rental for the time being.

The trees are colorful, the cliffs are beautiful, and the people are friendly.

We can walk to the park, the library, restaurants, and the water.

C & I ate clam chowder on night one. I love clam chowder. I refuse to say "chow da."

J & E start preschool on Monday and I excited about the program they're in.

This was the view on my evening run.

Ok, it was a run/walk...

Ugh, fine. It was mostly a walk and part of the time I just stood and stared at the sunset. That's the truth. Scout's honor.

We're happy and we're adjusting. The kids did a wonderful job traveling. The cat, not-so-much. C says she's lucky that she is with us and not on the side of the road in New Jersey.  (He would never.)

Thank you for all of the prayers and encouragement over the past week! We are grateful for you and for this time we have.
