Last piece of paper
Our last piece of paper to be officially registered on Bulgaria's Ministry of Justice waiting list is on it's way to us!
Caleb came home last week, just ahead of the flooding, and we were able to get fingerprinted for immigration approval. The approval letter has been mailed to us, we will get it notarized and apostilled and mailed to AGCI. Right now, the rest of our dossier is in Bulgaria being translated. When that is finished and this letter is received, we'll be added to the waiting list.
There is still a lot to do. We will redo most, if not all, of this paperwork. Moving to Rhode Island has put a kink in the process...I'll fill you in on that one of these days. We have much work left to do and redo. BUT, once we are on the list, the clock begins to tick. We aren't wasting time by working on our paperwork...we are occupying ourselves while we wait.
The past 6 months have been turbo speed to get on this list. The next 3 years will be a crawl to move up it. We are grateful to be where we are...and that statement has multiple meanings.
