Dossier Approval!
Our dossier was approved today!
It will now be sent to Bulgaria for translation, which takes about 6 weeks. In the meantime, we are also waiting on approval from US Immigration. Once we have that, we send it on to Bulgaria and it is added to our dossier and then we are officially on the waiting list!
The time from that point is probably 2-3 years, but there are many factors that go in to the length of wait. We will need to update our home study and background checks annually while we wait, but we just keep moving up the list as time goes on even as we do updates.
We are thrilled to be at this stage so quickly and glad that our dossier was accepted on first submission. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers for our dossier and for our family!
